Alex Mathieson - Creative Director for ITV2, ITV4 & ITVbe

Alex has worked in the industry for over 17 years, starting in live programming on the hit youth show T4 for Channel4. He then moved into promo making in 2003 and has since worked on some of the most iconic youth channels in the UK, including E4, MTV and ITV2.

In his spare time he writes and directs short films.

Jason Thomson - Broadcast Director at Ignition Creative

Having worked 14 years in a promo environment, in 2015 Jason left the BBC to join Ignition Creative in the London arm of their LA office. Broadcast content was rapidly increasing during this time and given Jason’s experience, Ignition London created a dedicated Broadcast division which he headed as Broadcast Director. Fast forward three years and Ignition work with all the main broadcasters in the UK: BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 alongside other companies including FOX Networks, Fremantle and BBC Worldwide.

Ignition has lots of exciting projects on the horizon, including an expanding physical production division and (the big one) their own Film Festival, a joint venture that will see a simultaneous festival happening in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
