Director of Digital Content at the ONE campaign

A BIT ABOUT ALISTER: Alister worked as a print journalist at The Independent for a decade before switching online. He’s been at the forefront of digital strategy ever since holding director positions at Bebo, AOL Europe and Huffington Post UK until he switched to agency side and launched Forensik Consulting. He returned brand side in 2014 as Head of Social Media at BBC Television managing one of Europe’s largest portfolios of social media accounts. Prior to his role at ONE campaign Alister was Director Digital Media A+E Networks UK managing digital marketing, websites and mobile apps for pay TV channels, HISTORY, Crime And Investigation, Lifetime and the new free-to-air channel Blaze across multiple territories.

PROMAXBDA UK BOARD ROLE: Alister will be overseeing the website and social feeds for PromaxBDA UK. We have big ambitions for the website to become a really useful resource for the industry. As well as housing general info for awards and events we hope to eventually: build in a job bulletin board, house reels, pull in relevant tv broadcasting articles and showcase work. Alister will also work out a strategy to build on reach, engagement and creativity with our social feeds.
