The PromaxBDA UK short film festival was established in 2010 to encourage, showcase and reward short films made by TV promo people and those working in TV branding and promotion.

Produced, Filmed, Edited & Directed by Cathy MacDonald, freelance including: Sky TV.

The screening of all 5 finalists, and Filmmaker Interviews with film critic Karen Krizanovich took place at the exclusive event on 1st November 2017 at the Renior Cinema. The finalists won a share of the £30,000 prize fund, announced at the exclusive screening event on 1st November 2017. The winner Cathy MacDonald, was announced at the screening of all films presented by Amazon Prime Video in association with SuperGrizzly.

The 5 finalists were invited to attend PromaxBDA UK 2017 Awards ceremony at Hilton Hotel Park Lane London on November 3rd, where the Cathy MacDonald was be presented with her award.
